13.02.11

That's why I'm easyyyy, easy like Sunday morningggggg. Wow, I'm cool. So last night I babysat for the cutest 2 year old ever! She's called Amelia and she's lovely. I sat and watched Prison Break for 2 hours until 9, watched Miami Ink for an hour, Benidorm for a bit then Match Of The Day. I love babysitting! I mean you get paid to watch tv! I got £20 for last night which I'm pretty impressed with. When I got in I wasn't tired at all. I was still awake at 4. Then I woke up this morning at 9. I can't remember why mum came in, but I wasn't best pleased. Went back to sleep for a bit then got up at half 11. I put my laptop on and decided to look for some new clothes. I really really really want a pair of desert boots! They're so cute! Then I went and had some lunch and put Valkyrie on. Unfortunately, yet again, I fell asleep watching it. I have a confession. My music taste is going downhill. Majorly. Today I listened to Lil' Wayne's albums "Tha Carter III" and "Rebirth" and I really enjoyed them! I just feel totally chilled out when I listen to Lil' Wayne. I really like him. I found out Bradley can definately come to see Arctic Monkeys in June! Eeeeee! We can't wait! Ermmmm, I don't think much else has happened today. Made some plans with Alex about the Glamour Of The Kill concert on Saturday. I can't wait! I love their new album! Had Sunday dinner. I hated it. I really don't like beef tbh. It just tastes funny. So I sat and ate my broccolli. Came back on here. Dad rang. That's it really. Shit day. Shit blog. Top Gear's on now so that's schweeeeeeet. xx

12.02.11

Another boring day in the life of Becca Hogarth. Last night I kept having nightmares about my tablets; like how I'd choke on them or they'd explode in my stomach or how they'd be so big they wouldn't fit in my mouth. I kept waking up aswell so when it got to quarter past 8 I was so tired and thought I'd slept in and missed the school bus. Fail. So I went back to sleep and got up at half 11. Mum told me that when she got back at lunch time we'd be going to the chippy. I have to take a tablet an hour before I eat so I figured I'd take one when mum got back and by the time we'd gone to Whitby to the chippy and back it would be an hour after I took the tablet. Mum got in at half 12 and had already got some stuff for lunch. This meant I had to wait until half 1 for lunch. I was starving! Then this afternoon I sat and cut up some Kerrang! magazines and Jack Wills handbooks. Pretty pointless but it kept me entertained. Today I've also listen to Arctic Monkeys' album "Humbug" 9 times. Excessive I know but I bloody love it! Their best by far! This afternoon me and Em also had a little debate about hot people. She doesn't think Alex Turner is hot! Shame on her! He's beautiful! I've just had a parmo and it was yummy! Half an hour's time I'm babysitting for a couple on the next street to mine. Should be interesting.... I can't think of any other foreign way to say bye, so byeee xx

11.02.11

Today has been a good day for me! Well kinda. I had really bad trouble sleeping last night and was still awake at half 4. Usually this wouldn't bother me but I had an alarm set to get up at quarter past 8. Everyone's been saying how they were going to have lie-ins on the two days off that we got, and I would of loved to have had one, but I've had more important things to do. I mean tickets for Arctic Monkeys in Sheffield went on sale at 9 this morning so I had to get up! So I sat refreshing the TicketMaster page from half 8 onwards waiting for the tickets to be released. It got to 9 and it was so easy! I ordered 4 tickets and was finished by 09:05. I went back on at 09:15 to see if there was queues and stuff like I thought there would be. I was right. I felt sorry for people stuck in queues to get tickets. Turns out both gigs were sold out by 09:30! 10,000 tickets for the gig I'm going to and I've got 4 of them! 17 weeks today! Ahhh, I'm excited already. Right, calm, go onto other things. So after that I was a bit bored really. I just sat and listened to music. Went downstairs, made some lunch then put The Vaccines and Arctic Monkeys on full volume. Mum got in from work and made me turn the music off. I was a bit gutted really, I was in a well good mood! But then she put my Jack Johnson album on so that was nice and relaxing. We then went into town because I needed to go to the bank. I need my own credit card. I had to use mum's this morning but I felt mean just taking £145 off her for tickets so that's why I went to the bank so that I could pay her back. When I went to pay the money into my mum's account for her the lady in the bank was horrible. She talked to me as if I'd nicked the card and that I was low-life. Urgh. Went shopping in Nisa and got some custard doughnuts. Mmmm! Then when we were walking back to the car we say Katiee and Dan. Katiee said "Hi", I said "Hi" back, when we'd walked a bit further mum said that she thought that Katiee had been talking to her haha. Oh Katiee. Hopefully we're going to see Glamour Of The Kill next Saturday with Alex! Should be good! Right, back to today. We got back in the car and started driving home. For those of you who don't know my mum drives a Subaru Impreza. It's really noisy and embarrassing but everyone thinks she's cool cos she has one. Some random kid kinda laid on the bonnet while we were waiting at the traffic lights. I really didn't know what to say. When we got back into Bay I went to the doctors' surgery to pick my tablets up then went to my uncle's pub, The Grosvenor. He's just had it re-done, all the interior and stuff, and it's gorgeous! It looks completely different! Got home, took my tablets out and they're massive! No Exaggeration! I really don't want to take them but I'm going to have to. And that's it really. Had salad for tea. Yum! Tonight's gonna be the usual, sit on my laptop all night and read about how other people's life's are more interesting than mine! Hasta La Vista xxx

This is what I'm soooooo excited about ;)

10.02.11

Oh today's a good day! Very good indeed! Hehehehehe! No, I'm not on drugs. I just spoke to my dad, and he's letting me order tickets for Arctic Monkeys in the morning! Wooooo! If you don't already know I'm pretty much obsessed with them cos they're frickin' amazing! So yeah, that's me getting up early in the morning so I can sit and wait for tickets. Back to today... So I got up, got changed, did my hair then realised I had the day off college. So I got back into bed and put some cds onto iTunes. I sync'ed Georgie's iPod for her then walked onto her house to give it to her. She's gone on holiday for 2 weeks and I'm so so jealous! She's gonna come back black! So I went to the surgery to pick my tablets up and the idiot doctors didn't have them. Hmphhh. So I've got to get them tomorrow now. I came home, stoppes at the shop on my way back for a More! magazine and a shitty 35p energy drink that didn't give me any energy whatsoever, made myself some pasta and sat and watched the music channels for a bit. Mum got back from work and basically told me that the Arctic Monkeys' gig is gonna be a "missive drugs fest full of scum and low-life". Her loss I suppose. I had my tea, which was chicken kievs, then sorted my cds out. My cds have to be in alphabetical order of artist then year of the album if I have more than one of each artist. My cd rack is the only tidy thing about my room and I bloody love it. I know it's sad but sometimes I take them off the rack, mess them up, then put them back in alphabetical order. OCD I think. Or I'm just weird? I'll let you decide... Then I went into my wardrobe and found a load of my old cds, like 30 of them! All my old "NOW" albums, my "R 'N' B" albums, Girls Aloud, Spice Girls, Steps, Black Eyed Peas, High School Musical, Camp Rock and the best album ever; Chris Brown - Exclusive: The Forever Edition. It's possibly one of my most favourite albums ever! I know everyword, even to the rap parts. I used to be obsessed with Chris Brown because, tbh, he's amazing. His voice is gorgeous and he's even more gorgeouser! Which brings be back to the phone call with dad. We don't even know if he's going to be at home or not but I'm ordering the tickets anyway! I'm a bit gutted that the gig's on the same weekend as Download but I think I'd rather see Arctic Monkeys again and save my money for Leeds Fest. Another thing that cheered me up today was seeing Fernando Torres in More! magazine. He looked hawwwwwt. As did Ashley Cole. I proper hope Cheryl Cole doesn't read More! cos it was saying about how Ashely's gonna try win her back on Valentine's day. What if they've ruined the surprise!? Silly magazine! On a lighter note I was feeling pretty cool so I decided to post all over Dan Hetherton's Formspring account how gorgeous he is. For those of you who don't know he's the drummer out of Elliot Minor. I kinda follow him on Formspring and Twitter and I'm his friend on Facebook. I've never seen Elliot Minor but I really want to! Their music's so easy to listen to! Until saturday night 3 of my best friends are going to be out of the country and I'm really quite jealous. Georgie goes to Fuerteventura for 2 weeks tonight, Sophie goes to Paris for 4 days tonight and Alex gets back from skiing on saturday. I could really do with a holiday. I was spoilt last year; I had 33 days abroad last year. So far this year I've had none! But my Swedish exchange student Elin comes over soon and I can't wait! It's gonna be a great week! Right, I think this post has gone on far far far too long now and if you're still reading it then CONGRATULATIONS! Auf Wiedersehen!

Just found out that I share my birthday with Tarmo Kink. I feel well cool now! 8)

09.02.11

Three days in a row that I've remembered to blog! Well it's only going to be a short blog today. The reason being I'm ill. I woke up this morning with really bad pains under my ribs and just felt like complete shit. So I stayed off college and laid and watched tv for a bit. The highlight of my day was The Jeremy Kyle Show. It was proper cute. They found this girl's dad after 32 years! Then I fell asleep. I got up and mum took me to the doctors. We found out why my ribs have been hurting. My body produces too much acid in my stomach which is why I get the pains. Nice. Because I'm ill I also had to miss my hair cut. I'm pretty gutted actually; I haven't had it cut for 7 weeks and I've got to wait another 3 for an appointment. It's gonna be awful. I've just had some toast. Can't say it was very nice but meh, I'm ill. Just found out Deaf Havana are supporting Feeder on friday. This was another concert I planned on going to but had no money (N). See, I said it was only going to be a short blog. It's shite I know but this is all I've done today. Hasta la vista!

08.02.11

I remembered to blog! But only cos Em reminded me sometime today, possibly after college? idk. But, as per, my day's been pretty boring. Started off in form, had to write a short story using sentences Miss Beattie had already wrote. My brain is never in gear at 08:50 on a morning, so I can safely say I failed. First lesson was science. Me and Bradley became scientists for an hour and did some experiment for our chemistry coursework. We kinda failed a bit and ended up pouring about half a litre of acid into a sink... Oh and I also managed to pour acid onto my hand; good lesson ey. Next I had volleyball and I really wasn't looking forward to it. Started off attempting to hit the ball over the net with Sally, Emma, Hannah and Elle. Gotta admit, it was a good laugh. Then Miss Welford put us into teams. I was on a team with Emma, Hannah, Dougie, Bruce, Jacob and Caleb. We were pretty good tbh. The team we played was Dani, Elly, Jaye, Dan, Isaac and Kevin. There was a bit of vivalry between the lads but it was good. I actually managed to get the ball over the net! I know! Amazing isn't it! After volleyball I bumped into Mr Wolley and we had a nice little chat. Then it was break, so me, Sophie and Megan went into the canteen and Sophie and Megan ate. Sophie had a poppy seed bread bun (the poppy seeds looked like caviar!) and Megan had a cheese scone. My third lesson was science, yet again, and I ended up spending the lesson writing up some tables of results for my chemistry coursework. Not a lot happened that lesson except me and Hannah danced a bit and I wrote on Bradley's hand cos he was taking the piss outta my voice. For lunch me and Hannah went down into the music room. We ate, played some songs, went for a fat walk then played some more music. My mum made me a massive sandwich for my lunch. I have never seen bread so thick in my life! And I never thought pork and cucumber would taste good together... Forth lesson I had citizenship. Sami wasn't in so I went and sat next to Ryan, who informed me he thought Sophie was in a mood with him cos he called her a "failed abortion". Can see why really. So we were learning about pressure groups and that was it really. I got a Kerrang! magazine out and me and Ryan went bird spotting. We found Oli Sykes, Matt Nicholls and Hayley Williams. Last lesson I had biology. I think I may have shocked Mr Leggatt a bit, knowing the answer to a question on starch and osmosis. He was smiling, so I guess he was pleased. We had to watch some boring videos. One of them said "big black thing" and Josh burst out laughing. It was pretty funny if I'm honest. Me and Em had a bit of a debate about who was the fittest outta You Me At Six. I said Josh Franceschi and Em said Dan Flint. Tbh Dan is quite hot but Fransexi is just something else. Lesson ended, went over to Em's locker. She was billed and had to walk home by herself. Not even Dan would walk with her. So I walked up to the bus stop and me, Catherine, Kaya, Jess and Hannah thought we'd see how many Ford Focus cars went past. It was quite a lot. On the bus not a lot happened. Me and Catherine talked about Paris and Sweden. That's it really. Got home, there was nothing in the cupboards so I came upstairs and put Glamour Of The Kill's new album on. It's AMAZING! I downloaded it last night and hopefully I'm going to see them a week on saturday! Which reminds me... Tonight Murderdolls and Black Veil Brides are at The Empire. Me, Sophie, Katiee, Ryan, Jack and Alex were gonna go. But it never happened. Sophie and Jack are going to Paris on thursday and Alex went skiing on saturday. I really love Black Veil Brides; Andy Sixx's voice is gorgeous! Many people don't agree with me but I love how low it is! So instead I'm going to listen to some more music, watch Gok's Clothes Roadshow at 8 then Big Fat Gypsy Weddings at 9. I don't want to sound ignorant or anything but if gypsys don't work how can they afford such big dresses? Maybe they nick them? I didn't want that to sound harsh but it probably did. Oh well. One thing I was quite pleased about today was my hair. To say I'm not a fan of the colour it's really soft! I like it being dark, suits me a lot better I think. I haven't really got much more to say so Au Revoir!

3. Lil' Wayne - Lollipop
4. You Me At Six - Fireworks

Summer.

This picture has got me real excited for summer! I hate winter!

07.02.11

My "I'm going to blog every day" thought has gone out of the window. This is my 4th post in like a month? Anyway, over the last week hardly anything has happened. Well, nothing important anyway. All I've done is go to college, listen to music and watch movies. Oh and sleep a tiny bit. So I found out I was moving into a new form. I was actually mortified I was leaving Joe and Meghan; we used to have so much fun. Now I'm in an "Under-achieving High Aspirations" form. Yeah, fun eh. So I sat this morning and had to fill in a sheet about my future basically. I just wanted to cry. I have ideas what I want to do, I just know I won't succeed in it and my choices are all so different! Do I join the army!? Do I train to be a physiotherapist!? Do I train to be a psychiatrist!? Do I go into music production!? Arghhh! It's so bloody hard! I'd prefer it if someone came up to me and gave me a life plan! I'm so bad at making choices it's unreal. And after I've made them I nearly always regret them or think what might have happened if I'd chose differently. I think over things too much. Like today at choir (yawnnnn) I was thinking "What if I had chosen to sing soprano instead of alto?" and proper bored myself about how I might be different if I'd sang soprano. I really need to stop thinking so much, cos tbh, I think I'm just gonna go through life regretting everything that I do. Back onto some happier stuff... I have found a new love for lacrosse! It's actually one of the funnest sports ever! Yes, I'm shit at it but I really enjoyed it and it really uplifted my mood. And we got to play it inside, not out in the wind! That wind is bloody awful. I was in the printer room and found a piece of paper saying "If I was called Harry Potter I would show Hermoine my wand." It's safe to say me and Dan were near enough pissing ourselves. How childish. So that's been today really! Might aswell go back to the weekend. Saturday I went to Scarborough and went to my favourite shop ever! That's right, HMV! <3 Possibly the best thing ever that shop! Or it was untill I went in and found out Glamour Of The Kill's new album "The Summoning" was sold out! So instead I bought Jack Johnson's "In Between Dreams", Good Charlotte's "Cardiology", Kings Of Leon's "Youth & Young Manhood", "Aha Shake Heart Break" and "Because Of The Times" (meaning I now have all 5 KOL albums! How exciting!). I also bought "Valkyrie" and "The Hangover". Mum got me my first Cadbury's Creame Egg of the year! Easter soon! I also got some hair dye. It said it was brown, the picture looked brown, yet my hair is now a reddy/purple colour; bright red in the sunlight. I was actually gutted. I proper want brown hair! How boring of me. Yesterday I went onto Georgie's house. We played Fifa, drank cups of tea, did her english homework, watched "Youth In Revolt" then watched the Chelsea vs. Liverpool match. I was buzzing. Fernando Torres in a Chelsea shirt! NOM! What a beautiful man. I could be here all night expressing my love for him. He's amazing. End of. Went home at half time which was pretty bad seeing as though my mum doesn't have Sky Sports :/ then I found out that Chelsea had lost by one goal, which I wasn't too pleased about, but what can you do, ey? Awful sleep last night, all 1 and a half hours of it, meant I looked and felt dead this morning. So that's brought us full circle really. After college I watched some of last night's "NFL Superbowl". I actually really enjoyed what I saw, but I wish I actually knew the rules haha. I think tonight's plan is going to be... Have a bath, listen to some music (my music taste's gotten real heavy; Slayer, Motorhead and things like that!), then watch "Outcasts". I actually don't have a clue what it's about but I've got nothing better to do. Then I might watch "Episodes" cos it's supposed to be quite funny. I shall have to see! Anyway, if you're still reading this you must be so bored it's unreal, cos my life is utter shite. Ciaooo!

01.02.11

Pinch punch first of the month! So today's been a pretty average day, nothing major happened. There was the usual banter and laughs and that's it really. Lunch time was probably the best part of my day actually. Sat in the art room while Jack was doing some art, myself, Sophie, Katiee and Ryan were discussing bins and what happens in them if you're with a certain person. I can honestly say I haven't laughed as much as I did today in a long, long time. I love my friends; I can be in such a bad mood and within a minute of being with them my mood has been lifted. So yeah, had some interesting conversations at in the art room. Volleyball was interesting, it has got to be one of the most painful sports ever! And when a ball comes flying at you it's so scary! Or maybe I'm just a wimp? So school was pretty boring really. I found out how much of a stalker Catherine Allanson is when it comes to Johnny Depp. She even knows which house is his in Paris... Which leads me onto one of the best things ever! This morning I turned on the tv and found out Fernando Torres had signed for Chelsea for £50,000,000. It wasn't much of a surprise with all the rumours flying about, deals being made between Chelsea and Liverpool and Torres going to Stamford Bridge for a fitness test but I was so happy it's unreal. For anyone who doesn't know about my obsession with Torres, it's pretty big. Tbh, I think he's one of the most beautiful people alive. I mean his book's sat next to me right this minute. Katiee's just sent me the link for The Blackout's new song, "Ambition Is Critical". I love it! I've seen them twice and they were amazing both times. The first gig of their's that I went to was at The Empire in Middlesbrough 03.12.10 and the second gig I saw then at was at The Dome in Doncaster 10.12.10 where they supported You Me At Six. I don't know what to talk about now so m'off.
